January's Postcard of the Month

Let’s usher in a fresh start with a moment of true stillness.

This postcard was taken in the Moroccan desert. After an eight-hour drive from Fes into the middle of nowhere, our group set out on a sunset camel ride.

Moving slowly through miles and miles of sand, (no roads, no buildings, nothing at all), you don’t realize how loud life is until you’re somewhere like this. The quiet is hard to explain; eerie and empty, yet deeply peaceful and reflective. Just the sound of the wind shifting the dunes and the steady rhythm of movement beneath you.

Out there, everything softens. Time stretches. Your thoughts slow down. It’s the kind of stillness that stays with you long after you’ve left, and that’s the feeling I wanted to send home with this postcard.
